At Organics@Home, we run our business based on the following principles:
We are 100% committed to providing you with certified organic products. There are no conventional products hidden on our shelves.
When produce is in season in British Columbia we work directly with a network of over 30 certified organic farms. We have selected these farms based on thorough research of the over 500 organic farms in British Columbia. This ensures you get the best quality produce available and we work with farmers that share our philosophy and commitment to organic food. In the winter months most of our produce comes from certified organic farms in California that have a reputation for providing fresh high quality produce.
We take the time to get to know our customers and their preferences. If you need any assistance, call our customer service team who are on hand to assist you. You will find our drivers courteous and professional and you will usually get the same driver each week unless they are on a well-deserved vacation.
Each week you will receive our newsletter, Fresh Philosophy. We'll keep you up to date with the latest organic news, health tips, fruit and veggie trivia, recipes, and inspirational quotes.
We always source our fruits, vegetables and groceries as locally as possible. We work with a network of over 30 British Columbia growers. Buying local reduces the amount of energy involved in transporting products, while supporting the local economy. When produce has to come from abroad, we look for the closest possible supply.

At Organics@Home we feel it is important to give back to the community and protect our environment. Each week we donate our leftover produce to Wildlife Rescue, a local wildlife rehabilitation center. We also donate fruits and vegetables to weekly soup kitchens and outreach programs such as Neighborhood Helpers and the Urban Bridge. In addition, we contribute a portion of our profits to various environmental groups such as The David Suzuki Foundation and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee.
Everyone at Organics@home knows they are making a difference. Each week when we pack your box of produce, we know we are doing something positive that contributes to you and your health and we are supporting farmers with a vision of a healthier planet. When we drive our van run on biodiesel, we know we are at the forefront of environmental fuel practices. This feels great!
We also make a point to have fun while we are working - whether it's listening to great tunes, sharing a laugh or hearing about each other's weekend while nibbling on bananas - Organics@home is a positive place for employees.
